信州松代には、戦国時代ころから使われて来た柴石という安山岩があります。

松代城（海津城）の石垣に使用されており、武田家軍師山本勘助の築城以来、城を守り、真田家10代250年の歴史を支えてきました。

柴石の歴史

戦国時代、天文3年（1534年）頃、甲斐の武田信玄が越後の上杉謙信に備えて、山本勘助に海津城（後の松代城）の築城を命じました。城の石垣に柴石が使用されていることから、この当時から採石されていたことが確認できます。

　その後、真田信之が、地元の産業として石材業を奨励していたことからも、盛んに採石していたと考えられます。

　江戸時代後期、佐久間象山を見出した名君真田幸貫の時代には、立派な産業に成長したとの記述が残されています。

柴石は昔から「勝ち石」・「守り石」と言われ、愛用された天然石です。

この歴史ある柴石を皆様に知って頂き、真田家や長野市松代町の歴史に触れるように、身近に感じる様々のアイテムをマツシロックプロジェクトで開発しています。

マツシロックプロジェクトは、純松代産の歴史と文化を守りたいと考え、長野市、長野石材協同組合、商工会議所、デザイナーや手工芸作家が中心となり、平成29年に「マツシロックプロジェクト」を設立しました。

今回は、小松姫をイメージしたアイテムです。

小松姫は変化や変革を受け止め、自己実現やより良い人間関係を築くことで、自分の意志で主体的に行動し、心の安定や平和、慈愛を育みまして。その過程で、癒しや思いやりを持ち、心の温かさを感じていました。女性らしさもまた、内面的な美しを引き出し、自己肯定感「自己表現力を高めていたそうです。そして、自分自身が幸せであることで、周りの人々にも幸せや喜びを与え、社会全体がより豊かになることを願っていました。

小松姫紹介

小松姫は上田藩および松代藩の初代藩主・真田信之（信幸）の妻。本田忠勝の娘。

徳川家康または徳川秀忠よ養女として真田家に。信政、信重、まん、まさを生みました。

松代町について

自然も豊かです。松代の象徴と言っても過言ではない皆神山は山の形状から「世界最大最古のピラミッド」といわれていたり、古くから修験道の地として栄えたりした側面もあります。山頂に鎮座する「皆神神社」は、最古のピラミッドに合わせて各地から訪れるパワースポットです。

In the late Edo period, there is a description that it grew into a splendid industry in the era of the great ruler Yukichika Sanada, who discovered Zouzan Sakuma.
Shibaishi is a natural stone that has long been known as a “winning stone” and a “protective stone”.
Through the Matsushi Rock Project, we are developing a variety of items that make people familiar with the history of the Sanada family and Matsushiro-cho, Nagano City.

Introducing Princess Komatsu

Komatsuhime was the wife of Sanada Nobuyuki (Nobuyuki), the first lord of the Ueda and Matsushiro domains. She is the daughter of Tadakatsu Honda.

She is Tokugawa Ieyasu or Tokugawa Hidetada to the Sanada family as her adopted daughter. She gave birth to Nobumasa, Nobushige, Man and Masa.
