稀少なモルダバイトってどんな石か、、、を解説する。

 

チェコ（旧チェコスロバキア）のモルダウ川流域で発見されたことからモルダバイトと名付けられている。

 

 

天然ガラス質（テクタイト）の一種で深い森林のような濃いモスグリーンの色合いが特徴的。

 

 

約1450年前に直径1.5キロメートルの小惑星の衝突で形成され、

クレーターから450キロメートルの範囲に放出されたと言われている。

 

隕石が衝突した時の衝撃は膨大で、

 

その熱量とエネルギーは隕石自体も砕け散り、

 

地球上の岩石や砂は隕石の成分と地球の石英などの成分が上空にまいあげられ、
